Venice has overlooked water from land to sea for as long as it could, but it was only in the beginning of the fifteenth century that the lagoon city began to take care of “its” Terraferma. It is in the Brenta Riviera that the most powerful Venetian families from the fifteenth century bought farms and built sumptuous villas in which to spend their holidays. Important architects and illustrious painters were called in to make the whole area known for the beautiful and many villas.

And still today, as it was back then, the area between Venice and Padua is a privileged place for visiting with is wide and diverse range of itineraries and events.
